The CSL provides technical assistance and Cybersecurity training through seminars, workshops, expos, and webinars for first responders, investigators, forensic examiners, prosecutors, judges and corrections personnel. Training and technical assistance topics include:

The CSL Web Environment, www.cybersciencelab.com, is utilized as an information clearinghouse in the Cybersecurity arena. This clearinghouse features:

Embedded Intern Program

The CSL's Embedded Intern Program provides a unique opportunity for high school, undergraduate and graduate students to gain hands-on experience in the field of Cybersecurity at various law enforcement agencies nationwide. The foundation of this program is a joint venture between academia and both the public and private sectors in an effort to expose students to a challenging experience in support of Cybersecurity developments. Schools solicited to date include: Utica College, Syracuse University, University of Arizona, Florida Atlantic University, Brooklyn Polytechnic University, Carnegie Mellon University, Dartmouth College, Stanford University, State University of New York Institute of Technology (SUNY IT), Hilbert College, and University of Dayton School of Law.
Coalition Building
The CSL works closely with agencies such as the United States Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Forces (USSS-ECTF) and the Federal Burea of Investigation (FBI) Cyber Division. This coalition of electronic crime experts serves as a gateway for developing and delivering technologies critical to the identification, preservation, collection, and presentation of electronic evidence to the Cybersecurity community. A coalition with the CSL, criminal justice and other organizations exists in order to share forensic tool knowledge base from government and industry with NLECTCs and State & Local law enforcement agencies nationwide.
